Overview
Global Gardens is a working program because of the enthusiastic, creative and involved community, which includes teachers, volunteers, farmers, business owners, parents, donors, neighbors, administration, board of directors, friends & family.
Just like in the Global Gardens classroom, as an organization we recognize that community is first and foremost. A sustainable program depends on a community that takes ownership of the organization because it sees the heart and the value of the organization. We are grateful for the abundant support and encouragement our community has given to make this possible.
We especially want to acknowledge and thank Cindi Hemm, the fantastic and inspiring principal of Eugene Field Elementary, as well as all of the wonderful, supportive teachers at Eugene Field! Thank you for opening your doors to Global Gardens!
